Green Tea Caffeine

Many people who praise the health benefits of green tea are not aware that it contains a small percentage of caffeine. The content varies by the amount of tea consumed and the time that leaves are sitting. The caffeine in green tea works differently than the caffeine in coffee and has a less effect of making someone jittery. This gives many that calming effect without making someone jumpy and nervous the way caffeine in coffee can have on someone if they’ve had one too many cups.

Green tea also has L-Theanine that is a natural occurring amino acid only found in teas and certain types of mushrooms. This element stimulates health benefits for neurological health. It also relaxes you without the drowsy effect that can happen when people drink a lot of coffee when the body becomes so used to the caffeine that it can after a while have no effect on someone whatsoever.

Steeping the tea for 45 minutes can actually remove some of the caffeine from the tea and preserving the nutrient rich health benefits that green tea has. Up to as much as 80% of the caffeine in green tea is released when it’s sitting in hot water for the first 15-20 minutes. There’s also a fact that green tea’s natural occurring caffeine is also good for increasing oxygen input to the brain and the rest of the body.

Countless studies have shown that Asian males who consumed a certain amount of green tea with caffeine had seen a decrease in disease factors than those who had unhealthy lifestyles and didn’t consume any green tea. As many who do know is that the health benefits are decreasing diseases from arthritis to cancer.

Other things like infections, and also boosting immunity to decrease the chance of catching viruses and other things that are a problem for people year round and even helps with allergies that is due to the immune system being down. Those who are at risk for stroke and other disorders will benefit from green tea with caffeine since it’s been noted that those who are at risk for these disorders can also decrease the abnormal formation of clots that is common among those who have issues with blood disorders.

This is something many people should consider because of the fact that so many diseases can actually be decreased or prevented if people were educating themselves on a lot of health properties. This could see an increase in usage with more and more people looking for alternative means to get off of taking a lot of medications that have unpleasant side effects that can do some serious damage to the body over long periods of time.

This also point out how many people are looking at the health benefits for green tea and how the small amount of caffeine doesn’t cause jittery side effects and doesn’t have a habit of making people drowsy. It also gets people away from drinking excessive amounts of coffee and to start incorporating something healthier into their lifestyle.

With the increased awareness of health issues this is leading many people into the direction of finding more healthy choices to increase their ability to avoid and prevent many diseases that were not around years ago. This is all due to the diets and lifestyle choices of today and how much of the food consumed today isn’t really able to digest well.
