Weight Loss Home Treatments

Losing weight starts at home with eating correctly and increasing physical activity. A planned diet including fruits and vegetables, avoiding fatty foods and lowering calories can all be done within the home. Many physical activities can be done at home as well since there are countless exercises and exercise videos to show a person precisely how to accomplish the exercises. Perhaps a person is looking for a bit more to add inorder to accelerate the process oflosing weight. There is another home treatment one can try, a juice diet for 5-7 days. The juices of lemon, orange, cabbage, grapefruit, and pineapple may be used. When this is through, gradually introduce low calorie foods like grains or vegetables.

Roast a few barley seeds and then grind to a powder; mix with a little honey and milk to make a paste-like consistency. Take with breakfast daily. Sieve wheat flour and separate the bran; mixing 2 tablespoons full of bran in some skimmed milk and add some honey for flavor. Take once a day without adding sugar.

Take ten leaves of basil and juice them, taking the basil juice and mixing with 2 teaspoonfuls of honey in water. Take at least for one month for optimal results.

A very good salad combination would be raw onions and tomatoes mixed with the juice of one lemon and is virtually free of calories and fats.

Cabbage is known for being very good in aiding weight loss. Cabbage contains tartaric acid which reduces the conversion of carbohydrates into stored fats. Mixing pure raw tomato juice with a little honey will produce the same desirable effects.

Begin one's day with a cup of mint tea, followed by meals consisting of ground mint leaves and add 1 to 2 onions and alittle salt to taste.
