How this hormone can improve and maintain a health weight

Human Growth Hormone or HGH as it’s commonly referred to throughout medical science as the main hormone. It’s produced heavily when we are young, but it’s when we reach our early 20s that our bodies begin to produce less of it. By the time we are 40 nearly everyone is deficient in HGH, and at 80 our production has normally diminished at least close to 100%. Being the main hormone, HGH affects just about all areas of the body influencing the growth of cells, bones, muscles and organs. This is commonly looked at as the developmental hormone and it should be if it controls certain areas and functions of the human body.

When the body is deficient in things such as HGH one is going to notice a loss in muscle tone and mass, decreased energy, increase in fat, and decreased sex drive. Medical researchers have reported that the goal of weight loss is to lose the fat but keep and build the muscle. The study was later published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, monitored the effects of giving those who were overweight and obese low doses of growth hormones. The findings were some unwanted side effects that came with the trial treatment. These effects were not exactly ideal and normal and some even dangerous such as swelling (edema), increased blood pressure, joint pain, and intolerance to glucose-one of many risk factors for diabetes.

It was later shown at the end of the clinical trials done on subjects that from them taking growth hormones had seen some improvement in their cholesterol numbers. Along with decreasing risk factors for cardiovascular disease that is common for people who are severely overweight and obese. Doctors are willing to prescribe growth hormones for weight loss if people are willing to pay a serious premium to the tune of $10,000 or more. Using growth hormones for weight loss could be a new option for people instead of doing dangerous weight-loss surgeries that have a high fatality rate and a low expectation of proper maintenance that keeps the weight off.

The use of growth hormones for weight-loss will also have to be incorporated with a sensible diet and exercise lifestyle. This being that patients will have to change their eating and lifestyle habits in order to maintain sensible hormone levels and to withstand hormone therapy so that the body can absorb and properly process the medication without too many side effects. Side effects come from when the body can’t properly process sudden changes especially when one starts a hormone therapy program. This is why many people should really weigh options carefully before starting a hormone therapy program. Some programs may not be suited for some people especially if they’re having issues with balancing hormones. This is commonly seen in people with adrenal disease and diabetes since many deal with hormones that are thrown off. This is why potential users should do their homework before starting a therapy program.
